The British Horseracing Board wanted to promote horseracing as a realistic first choice option for a family day out, and educate the public on the subject of horseracing and dispel the common misconceptions associated with it.

They’re advertising agency devised a new site domain ‘’ and DesignIT were asked to produce a series of dynamic and interactive content modules for inclusion in this site to help achieve the client’s goals. The modules were designed to increase the users engagement in the world of racing, and to sell content in each of the core site areas.

The site is now widely regarded as the definitive site on horseracing, the ‘bible’ of the sport almost. Since the brand was launched there has been a significant increase in race attendance, a trend that is deemed to continue to rise throughout the coming seasons.
